Using Endnote at Moore College

Basic Guide

The Library has written a basic guide to using EndNote.  Download it here.

Moore College Output Style

EndNote output styles enable you to automatically format citations, footnotes and bibliographies to a chosen standard.  The College Handbook defines the acceptable style for Moore College essays and theses.  It is based on the SBL Handbook of Style, but deviates from it at some points.  The style is very complicated; unfortuantly it is not possible to create an EndNote output style that matches it at every point.  We have however, created a style that can be used as a starting point.

Download the Moore College EndNote output style.  Save it into EndNote's output style folder.  On windows, it typically needs to be saved in -

c:\Program Files\EndNote X1\Styles

Moore College Connection File

Connection files let you search an online database or library catalog from within EndNote.  Download a Moore College Library connection file and save it to the EndNote program's Connections folder to use this feature with our Library.  On windows, it typically needs to be saved in -

c:\Program Files\EndNote X1\Connections
