Access to Collections
Items in the main collection are available for everyone to use in the Library. Only current Library members are allowed to borrow and take items from the Library.
Reference items, serials, pamphlets, rare books and items in special collections may be used only in the Library.
Closed Access Collections
The Library has closed collections which can only be accessed by Library staff. Library staff will retrieve items for you upon request. Items may be requested via the Catalogue, via email, or at the Service Desk.
Items are retrieved -
- hourly between 9.30am and 4.30pm
- daily between 11am-12noon
- weekly on Wednesdays
and may be collected from the service desk.

Collections Retrieved Daily
Stack, Australiana, Australiana Serial, Folio, Little Books, MacLaurin, Minty, Wilkinson, Stack Serial

How to Order Items from Closed Collections
Requests may be made by:
- Clicking the "Request Item" button in the Catalogue and following the instructions OR
- Filling in this online Closed Collection Request form OR
- Using a bright green request form available at the circulation desk.
